DC Dynamometer is a machine to test the mechanical power of the loading. A standard DC Dynamometer comprises of a DC motor, a set of gear, a rotational testing sensor, a base or a HBM torque testing ring which is connected to the machine using the flange joint and a control module of the DC Dynamometer. The working principle is to convert the DC from the DC generator into the AC through the DC convert system.

In addition, the current of the network can be adjusted by the DC convert system in order to control the rotational speed and torque of the machine. Provided that this DC Dynamometer is connected to the Engine Test Instrument & Systems with the same brand, it can accurately measure and control the rotation speed and torque of every part of rotational machines. Furthermore, it can estimate and control different experimental data such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, current and voltage, etc.
