The commissioning work of Engine Test Platform for Hong Kong Polytechnic University is approved
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) has 70 years history as a comprehensive science and engineering university. The research area of PolyU Department of Mechanical Engineering is very broad, including heat transfer mechanics, waste gas control, hydrodynamics, vibration, noise control, the analysis and application of intelligence material, nanotechnology, advanced material study, product design and innovation etc..

The professors in PolyU Mechanical Engineering Department have in-charge both academic and research works, also the student technological activities and open laboratories. The Engine Test Platform, using on vehicle test and design, was under government bidding on May. XiangYi is awarded the bidding and finished the commissioning job on July.

The Engine Test Platform is specifically design and made for testing small power output diesel engine. The whole system structure is simple and can measure engine torque, speed, power and fuel consumption etc.. The system can also fulfill the engine external characteristic, partial characteristics, maximum power output and maximum torque tests.

2. Eddy Current Dynamometer Measuring and Control Unit
3. Eddy Current Dynamometer Driving Unit
4. Engine Automatic Test and Control System
5. Advanced Fuel Consumption Device
6. Throttle Executor
