PowerLink® GW Series Eddy current
dynamometer is the devices used for
engine testing. They are used for

Hydraulic
Dynamometer Property Curve

The power testing curve indicates
the maximum and minimum absorption
power under different rotational
speeds. It is composed of five
sections, OABCD:
OA curve reveals the dynamometer
maximum absorption power with the
change of speed under certain water
pressure.
AB line reveals the dynamometer
maximum absorption power with the
change of speed under the maximum
dynamometer torque.
AC line (SG20) and BC line reveals
the dynamometer maximum absorption
power which is not exceeding the
dynamometer maximum water exhaust
temperature.
CD line reveals the dynamometer
maximum speed limit
OD curve reveals the brake power
which the dynamometer is not fully
filled with water.
The area in curve OACDO (SG20) and
OABCDO reflects the absorption power
under that hydraulic dynamometer
model.
