Introduction
The PowerLink® FC3000 control system
software is for automatic engine
testing, control and data
processing. The followings are the
major advantages for this engine
testing software.

The DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange)
technique is applied.

User can insert/ delete control
parameters and to modify/ adjust
through the display interface.

Parameters such as rotational
speed, torque, power and
temperature can be collected in
real-time.

Fuel consumption and smoke
analysis can be measured.

The trend curve of rotational
speed, torque, power, exhaust
gas temperature can be plotted
in real-time

Instant mode can be carried on
by setting default control
method and default work
condition parameters.

and alert time and conditions

FC3000
System Protection Function
FC3000 consists engine and
dynamometer protection
circuits. On engine side,
there are protections such
as variable engine speed,
over-speed, low lubrication
oil pressure etc. Besides,
on dynamometer, the
protections such as loss of
coolant and low pressure are
existed. Other parametric
protection can be set by
keyboard manually.
The system contains three
levels alert protections
which are warning, protect
or emergency process
actions. Operator can set
the upper and lower limits
on keyboard for ascending
and descending the alert
data. When the above alert
limit is reached, the
following actions will be
taken.

<Warning>:
For this protection, the
system will emit warning
sound and the specific data
will be flashed on display.
Warning sound can be stopped
by pressing return key but
the data will still be
flashed.
2.
<Protection>:
For this protection, system
will shut down throttle and
set the loading to be around
30%.
3.
<Emergency action>:
For the emergency stop, the
emergency stop button is
pressed and after
controlling by circuit and
software, the throttle will
be zero and loading drops to
half. The engine stop
magnetic is then driven
(Reaction force of the
magnetic is 100N, the path
is larger than 40mm). The
engine stop handle will be
pulled (for diesel engine)
or the gasoline throttle
will be closed (for gasoline
engine). The above method
can ensure the urgent engine
stop in a safe way.
